Job Summary

The Central Sterile Processing (CSP) Technician is responsible for performing various functions involved in the pick up, assembly, processing, storage, and distribution of various reprocess and disposable items and/or equipment.
This position is part of the 1199SEIU Bargaining Unit at Cooley Dickinson Hospital.
This position reports to the Supervisor, Central Sterile Processing and operates within established organizational and departmental policies and procedures.


Qualifications

Education
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required


Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree?

Licenses and Credentials

  • Certified Central Processing Tech [CSP] - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) required


Experience

  • One (1) year CSP experience preferred


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
