Job Description 

We’re looking for Sterile Processing Technicians who are excited to support the foundation of safe patient care. In this role, you’ll help maintain sterile environments by inventorying equipment, decontaminating and cleaning tools, organizing trays and packs, and operating sterilizers. Your attention to detail and ability to follow aseptic techniques will make a meaningful impact every day. We value accuracy, accountability, attention to detail, and teamwork, and we’re excited to welcome teammates who bring these strengths to our team. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Inventory and maintain sterile processing supplies and equipment 

  • Decontaminate, clean, and sterilize surgical instruments and trays 

  • Organize and wrap instruments following proper procedures 

  • Operate and monitor sterilization equipment 

  • Follow department standards and safety protocols 

Collaborative Teamwork 

This role involves working closely with our team to deliver effective, patient-focused services and contribute to a supportive and collaborative work environment. 

Qualifications 

  • High school graduate or equivalent 

  • Minimum six (6) months of experience working in Sterile Processing Department (SPD) Required

  • Knowledge of aseptic and sterilization principles 

  • Ability to follow detailed department procedures 

  • Healthcare Provider BLS certification required within two months of hire and maintained 

  • Ability to read, write, understand and communicate effectively in the English language 

  • Must be able to put into practice Service Excellence skills with our patients, families, coworkers, and community
