Position Overview

Angel Social Work is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team at our remote Detox Center. This full-time role will play a crucial part in providing high-quality mental health services to individuals coping with substance use challenges and related mental health disorders. With a salary range of $60,000 to $100,000 annually, plus a sign-on bonus, this position emphasizes a strong commitment to patient care and professional growth.

About the Organization

At Angel Social Work, located in Fort Worth, Texas, we are dedicated to providing comprehensive mental health services that are accessible to individuals and families of all backgrounds. Our outpatient Detox Center specializes in the assessment, treatment, and support of individuals dealing with addiction and its psychological implications. We pride ourselves on fostering a collaborative and supportive environment that emphasizes healing, empowerment, and resilience, enabling our clients to lead fulfilling lives.

Work Environment

This remote work setting allows for flexibility in your schedule, accommodating both client and personal needs. While many therapeutic sessions will be conducted via telehealth platforms, you'll also have opportunities to engage in direct client interactions as needed. Our supportive team works together virtually to ensure that you have the resources necessary for effective client interventions while maintaining a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to identify and address clients’ mental health and substance use challenges.
  • Provide evidence-based individual and group therapy focused on addiction treatment, management of co-occurring disorders, and overall wellness.
  • Utilize therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing to facilitate client breakthroughs.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans, setting clear goals and actionable steps to promote client progress and recovery.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, psychologists, and recovery specialists to ensure a holistic approach to care.
  • Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments when necessary to guarantee the safety and well-being of clients.
  • Document all client interactions and treatment plans in compliance with legal standards and best practice guidelines to ensure continuity of care.
  • Lead group therapy sessions, delivering psychoeducation classes and cultivating supportive community groups for clients.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work primarily with adults experiencing substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, and trauma-related conditions. Your expertise will help empower clients on their journey to recovery, supporting them in overcoming obstacles and achieving their personal wellness goals.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • Strong understanding of evidence-based therapeutic techniques and current best practices in addiction treatment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to build rapport and trust with clients.
Preferred Experience
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a mental health or outpatient care setting, preferably with a focus on substance use treatment.
  • Experience leading group therapy and facilitating psychoeducational sessions.
  • Familiarity with telehealth technologies and best practices for virtual client engagement.
Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $60,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes: comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance; retirement plans with employer match; generous paid time off; and ongoing opportunities for professional development, including access to continuing education and training programs.

At Angel Social Work, we believe in investing in our employees' futures. As you gain experience, there will be opportunities for advancement into leadership roles, specialization in areas of interest, and the chance to take on innovative projects that enhance service delivery and client outcomes.
