Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of clients’ mental health, assessing the intensity, frequency, and impact of mood disorder symptoms such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique goals, needs, and preferences, utilizing evidence-based therapies like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
  • Provide ongoing support and education to both clients and their families regarding mood disorders, self-care strategies, and available treatment options.
  • Monitor client progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes and address evolving needs.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and integrated care, ensuring a holistic approach to each client’s well-being.
  • Stay informed on the latest research and developments in mood disorders to enhance treatment quality and methodologies.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development workshops to enrich your skills and knowledge.
  • Advocate for clients and work to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health issues in society.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients include individuals dealing with mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Qualifications
  • A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
