Job description

Job Title: AI Technical Content Specialist (STEM/Engineering Focus)
We're currently hiring for an AI Technical Content Specialist role, ideal for experienced engineers and applied science professionals who are interested in leveraging their technical expertise to help improve advanced AI systems. This is a fully remote, project-based position focused on reviewing AI-generated engineering and scientific content, identifying technical inaccuracies, developing realistic technical scenarios, and creating high-quality solutions that contribute to AI training.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and evaluate AI-generated responses involving engineering analysis, scientific reasoning, calculations, and technical problem-solving.
  • Identify errors in logic, assumptions, calculations, and technical accuracy.
  • Develop realistic engineering and applied science problems based on professional experience.
  • Create clear, technically rigorous solutions and explanations for AI training purposes.
  • Assess AI-generated work against established quality standards and evaluation criteria.
  • Provide constructive feedback to improve technical accuracy and reasoning.
  • Analyze technical datasets and engineering information where applicable.
  • Work independently while maintaining high standards of quality and productivity.

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of professional engineering or applied science experience (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, Environmental, Materials, Energy, Physics, or related disciplines).
  • Strong technical analysis, problem-solving, and calculation skills.
  • Experience working with real-world engineering data, testing, experimentation, or simulation.
  • Excellent technical writing and communication abilities.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
  • Ability to commit approximately 30-40 hours per week throughout a 12-week engagement.
  • Must be currently located within the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree in a related engineering or scientific field.
  • PE license or other relevant professional certifications.
  • Experience with quality engineering, modeling, simulations, data visualization, or predictive analysis.
  • Interest in AI, machine learning, and data-driven technologies.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $125.00 - $125.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
