Job description

SAP FI Consultant with BA/PM - Seattle

Location: Seattle, WA (Onsite)

Duration: Contract W2

Role overview:

This is a full-time, onsite role for a senior SAP analyst who leads delivery for a finance-centric landscape and is willing to take on work beyond FI. The lead owns the business relationship, documents requirements in detail, and directs cross-functional design and decisions across SAP FI, MM/SD, PI/PO, and ABAP — bridging business stakeholders and technical delivery.

Key responsibilities

•    Lead the SAP team — set priorities, guide functional and technical members, and own delivery quality and timelines.

•    Own the business relationship: elicit, analyze, and document requirements, and explain them in detail to delivery teams.

•    Direct cross-functional design and review meetings across FI, MM/SD, PI/PO, and ABAP; drive decisions and close open items.

•    Step beyond FI as needed to support MM/SD, PI/PO, and ABAP work — requirements, testing, and issue resolution across modules.

•    Map FI integration points across procure-to-pay (MM) and order-to-cash (SD), including account determination.

•    Coordinate interfaces with PI/PO (IDocs, APIs, mappings) and custom development with ABAP (reports, enhancements, RICEFW).

•    Coordinate maintenance windows and system availability with the Basis team.

•    Track work through build, SIT/UAT, and sign-off; report status to stakeholders.

Required experience and skills

•    Minimum 6 years as an SAP Business Analyst or functional consultant with a strong FI core (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting).

•    Hands-on experience in an SAP ECC environment.

•    Experience leading SAP teams and owning delivery quality and timelines.

•    Willing and able to work beyond FI — hands-on across MM/SD, with working knowledge of PI/PO interfaces and ABAP development.

•    Proven requirements-gathering, gap analysis, and documentation skills.

•    Strong communication skills — explains complex topics clearly to both business and technical audiences (primary requirement).

•    Prior experience working directly with US clients.

Preferred

•    S/4HANA exposure.

•    TM (Transportation Management) knowledge.

•    Full project lifecycle experience (SAP Activate).
