Job description

INTERNSHIP FORMAT:
 

This internship will follow an in-person model. Interns will be based at the Stellantis Headquarters and Technology Center in Auburn Hills, MI.  Relocation assistance may be available for candidates who meet specific eligibility criteria. The internship program is scheduled to run from May through August 2027.

The SRT group is offering internship opportunities in the following technical fields: Vehicle Engineering and Propulsion Systems. 

In a SRT Vehicle Engineering role at Stellantis, you will be part of a team that is instrumental to the company's leadership position in the Automotive industry. SRT Vehicle Engineering is responsible for leading development and validating high performance halo vehicles for all Stellantis brands.    Your assignment will include the opportunity to to work on new vehicle applications with best-in-class performance with the latest technologies and features to exceed our customers expectations. 

In an SRT Propulsion Systems role at Stellantis, you will be part of a team that is instrumental to the company's leadership position in the automotive industry. By joining us, you will design, develop, test and deliver the next era of high-performance propulsion systems in halo vehicles

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university in Engineering or related field 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications 
  • Able to work full-time, 40 hours per week during the internship  
  • Willingness to relocate for internship, if applicable 
  • Completion of freshman year or higher at an accredited college or university by Spring 2027 
  • Authorized to work in the United States  

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Previous internship and/or engineering experience 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills  
  • Capable of working both independently and as part of a team  
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across various organizational levels and with external partners  
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and achieve goals in a fast-paced environment  
  • Proven leadership in academic pursuits, extracurricular activities, or service organizations
