PRIMARY FUNCTION
Own the client relationship, managing all the sales requirements of any current or new projects. Function as a connection between client and partners serving as an expert on the wide variety of products and pricing available. Depending on the needs of a project, provide product suggestions for the client and designer's approval. Provide the leadership for a high-preforming project/account team to continuously deliver against agreed upon expectations which includes flawless execution, maximizing productivity and utilizing resources to exceed our clients' expectations. Lead strategy within existing accounts and foster new business efforts within existing and new Atmosphere customers.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Conduct client meetings individually or in conjunction with Director to understand the client's business needs and relevant buying influences.
  2. Develop and present Atmosphere capabilities, innovative solutions and service offerings to clients.
  3. Coordinate the process, quality and content of all client bids and requests for proposals.
  4. Facilitate client requests for pricing, specifications, information and other service requirements. This can involve providing quotes, determining gross profits, negotiating pricing and terms, cost/benefit analysis, reviewing finishes and options.
  5. Research available alternates to value engineer projects or provide options that meet client timelines. This includes products that feel like residential or hospitality, at all price points. Examples include furniture from box retailers, custom products from local fabricators or inexpensive rugs and accessories from online sources.
  6. Stay up to date on furniture, workplace trends, and ancillary offerings from various manufacturers.
  7. Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key designers, vendor reps, and manufacturers and expand professional network through networking events.
  8. Communicate completely and in a timely manner with clients, design firms and internal support teams.
  9. Engage teams to execute projects by conducting key meetings, clearly establishing roles and responsibilities, and working with the team to develop and execute solutions. Manage and document information within the Atmosphere business systems.
  10. Execute client projects when no Project Manager is assigned. This can include communication of critical project information to all affected Team Members, coordinating order placement and supplier negotiations, conducting pre-install meetings through the client walk through and punch list resolution.
  11. Drive for financial results related to achieving annual financial plan targets.
  12. Build, maintain, and advance a healthy pipeline of opportunities, while maintaining an accurate forecast.
  13. Lead negotiations related to pricing, contracts, and service delivery.
  14. Proactively manage project risks and resolve escalations.

Requirements
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • 4-year college degree or equivalent experience
  • 3 years of general sales experience
  • Demonstrated successes in managing accounts
  • Achievements in developing account relations and strategic selling
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, with intermediate level skill in Excel specifically
