Machine Operator - Steel Mill Operations

Location: Bartonville/Peoria, IL

Department: Steel Mill

Hourly Wage: $19.65 base + $4-$7/hour incentive pay after training

Shift Options: Swing shift rotation | Overtime and weekend/holiday availability required

Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily clean-up and housekeeping tasks

Operate heavy equipment including forklifts and bobcats

Conduct routine maintenance (lubrication, inspections)

Move and manage raw materials and finished products

Follow detailed safety protocols and SOPs

Train and support new team members

Take on various tasks as assigned by leadership

Job Requirements:

Must be able to:

Climb stairs/ladders, work at heights, and in confined spaces

Stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
