Job Description

Position Details:

Title: Quality Assurance Tester

Location: Irving, TX

Duration: 6 - 12 month (may extend)


Summary: 

5 plus years of experience in a Quality Assurance.

3+ years of experience in Python scripting languages.

Knowledge of Video Automation tools, IR Emitters 

Worked on IPTV/Cable/Sattelite/Terrestrial bases STB

Complete knowledge of all the features available in STB

Good knowledge of EPG,VOD,PVR(DVR)

Worked on DVB specifications

Understanding of networking components (i.e., Routers, Switchers, LAN topology, Ethernet, SNMP, IGMP, TCP/IP, UDP, Multicast , Unicast)

Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve IP network troubles in the physical, data link, and network layers. 

Knowledge of test management tools like HPQC and bug tracking tools like Jira
