Position Overview

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes supporting prototype, low-volume, and medium-volume production. This role focuses on improving efficiency, product quality, and manufacturing performance while supporting new product introductions and continuous improvement initiatives.

What You Will Do:

Process Development & Optimization

  • Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for electronic assemblies
  • Improve production efficiency, reduce waste, and eliminate bottlenecks using Lean manufacturing principles
  • Create and maintain work instructions, process documentation, and manufacturing workflows
  • Design production workstations, tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing equipment
  • Support AOI, conformal coating, and other automated manufacturing processes
  • Perform Gage R&R, process capability studies, root cause analysis, and Design of Experiments (DOE)
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Production teams to support new product introductions and ongoing manufacturing improvements
  • Support capital equipment projects while maintaining safety and quality standards

Quality & Process Engineering

  • Support AOI, conformal coating, and other automated manufacturing processes
  • Perform Gage R&R, process capability studies, root cause analysis, and Design of Experiments (DOE)

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Production teams to support new product introductions and ongoing manufacturing improvements
  • Support capital equipment projects while maintaining safety and quality standards

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, process improvement, and statistical analysis
  • Knowledge of CAD, manufacturing tooling, automation, and production processes
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Manufacturing engineering experience in electronics, aerospace, or defense manufacturing
  • Experience with AS9100, ISO 9001, IPC standards, or electronics manufacturing
