Job Summary:
Bespoke Technologies, Inc. is seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join their team in Chantilly, VA. The role involves technical execution, data analysis, and the ability to convey complex data concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Responsibilities:
• Demonstrated experience with Power BI (Tableau is not an acceptable substitute for this position).
• Demonstrated recent experience with Python and SQL.
• Demonstrated ability to build lightweight web applications when a traditional dashboard is not the most effective method for presenting or interacting with data.
• Demonstrated experience engaging in day-to-day technical execution.
• Demonstrated experience in two or more of the following disciplines: business analytics, statistics, data verification and validation, and data visualization.
• Demonstrated experience applying qualitative and quantitative data analysis methods to business or intelligence problems.
• Demonstrated experience transforming, manipulating, and combining data using a programming language such as Python or using a data preparation tool.
• Demonstrated experience using Excel.
• Demonstrated experience conveying technical concepts to nontechnical audiences both verbally and in written analytic reports.
• Demonstrated experience creating data visualization mockups, prototypes of visualizations, documenting work processes, and effectively demonstrating products to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated experience interpreting data models and working with a variety of data sources and structures.
• Demonstrated experience translating requirements into project or system specifications.
• Demonstrated experience as a self-starter with the ability to decompose ambiguous problems into actionable plans.
