Job Summary
This position is responsible for leading business analysis activities to gather requirements and translating requirements into specifications that will be used to implement the required solution; developing multi-source data and reporting solutions; defining and executing test scenarios / cases; providing support for complex production issues and change requests to include root cause analysis and implementation of proposed resolution; providing infrastructure / environment administrative support.
Required Job Qualifications:
  • Bachelor Degree or Information Technology Certifications (e.g. MCSA, MCSE, OCP) and 3 years' experience in the following areas OR 6 years' experience in the following areas:
  • Multiple reporting tools (e.g. Tableau, Business Objects, Cognos) and Structure Query Languages (SQL)
  • Relational and dimensional models
  • Analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills
  • Performance tuning experience related to reporting queries required
  • Experience leading requirement analysis and design sessions
  • Experience developing business / semantic layers
  • Understand of data integration issues (validation and cleaning), familiarity with complex data and structures
  • Working with in a requirements analysis role
  • Interpersonal ( verbal and written) communication skills are required to support working in project environments that includes internal, external and customer teams
  • Knowledge of logical and physical data modeling concepts (relational and dimensional)
  • MS Office tools, to include Access and Excel

Preferred Job Qualifications:
  • Bachelor Degree Computer Science or Information Technology
  • Experience in any of the following areas:
  • Leading requirement analysis and design sessions
  • Developing business / semantic layers
  • Leading / mentoring a team
  • System administrator for a reporting environment
