WHO YOU ARE
  • You are pursuing a bachelor's degree with a concentration in mathematics, statistics, computer science, computer engineering, finance, accounting, or economics at an accredited college/university with an expected graduate date of December 202 7 through Summer 202 8
  • You have a minimum GPA of 3. 0; 3.5 or above preferred
  • You have proven analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills through coursework, projects, and/or previous internship experience"
  • You have demonstrated use and application of coding languages to perform data analysis, including back-testing
  • You have demonstrated use and application of artificial intelligence toolsets to perform data analysis, visualization, and written output
  • You have experience using financial or statistical models
  • You have strong verbal and written communication skills
  • You have demonstrated leadership and teamwork through projects and/or extracurricular involvement"
WHAT YOU'LL DO
As an intern at Northern Trust, you will have the opportunity to build relevant skills, work on meaningful projects, and participate in a collaborative program designed to support your early career development. You will work directly with your team on day-to-day tasks while joining internship program events to develop new skills, network with senior leaders, and connect with fellow interns in the program. Through hands-on experience, meaningful project work, and exposure to a dynamic global business, you will begin to see how your interests can grow into a long-term career at Northern Trust. A recruiter will work with you to determine the best team placement given your interests, skill set, and relevant experience.
THE PROGRAM:
  • Ten weeks
  • Located in Chicago, IL

Salary Range:
Salary is $30.00 USD per hour.
Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension), health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, spending accounts and disability), paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
