Your tasks

  • Engineer and continuously improve New Boston Michigan Plant manufacturing and assembly processes, applying quality assurance techniques and SAP ERP Quality Management (QM) module, SAP web-based Quality Issue Management (QIM), and O-QIS tools to increase Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and reduce customer claims (warranty and 0km), and scrap costs during high volume production of mechatronic Touchless Handsfree Access; door modules; power/manual seat adjuster systems; spindle drives; power center consoles at high volume component manufacturing plant for just in time (JIT) delivery to OEM customers. Apply DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) and Six Sigma methodology, based on statistical tools such as Pareto Chart, Statistical Process Control (SPC), Process Capability (Cpk), Process Performance (Ppk) and Design of Experiments (DOE) analysis, to identify and solve root causes of problems.

Your Profile

  • Master, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related.
  • One month's experience as Intern, Engineer, or related, applying DMAIC and Six Sigma methodology, based on statistical tools such as Pareto Chart, Statistical Process Control (SPC), and Process Capability (Cpk) analysis, to identify and solve root causes of problems, or related.
