Job Description:

Perform Electrical design, technical analysis and/or resolution of engineering problems with consideration of manufacturing feasibility, cost, and operation

Essential Functions:

  • Design/alteration of complex electrical equipment
  • Test and debug complex equipment to isolate defects
  • Prepare layouts using CAD tools
  • Evaluation of complex designs; make engineering changes
  • Evaluate new parts
  • Prepares schematics, assemblies, detailed drawings and bills of material (BOM) for complex equipment
  • Support manufacturing/assembly teams
  • Manage and maintain project file
  • May travel to customer site and support field teams with technical assistance as required
  • May assist with leading, mentoring or coaching less experienced team members
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Specifications:

  • Must be able to perform all level 2 duties competently
  • Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics and mechanical assembly layouts
  • Comprehensive knowledge of CAD and engineering systems
  • Strong logical and reasoning abilities
  • Problem-solving ability
  • Comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing methods; electrical design and project management
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in customer's facility and manage that relationship

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
  • Typically has 4 plus years of experience in electrical engineering

Compensation range:

The approximate pay range for this position is $88,000-$110,000 annually. Please note that the pay range is a good faith estimate at the time of posting and may vary based on factors such as experience, skills, and geographic location.
