Description:

Seeking an experienced, results oriented Information Technology (IT) Enterprise Architect or Systems Engineer to join our team in the Bethesda, Maryland area. You will play a critical role in documenting and shaping our client's IT enterprise architecture, ensuring alignment with the clientโ€™s vision of driving interoperability across organizations.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop an IT enterprise architecture that provides client stakeholders awareness of critical capabilities, dependencies, and mission critical impacts and risks. This includes developing the:
  • Enterprise Architecture Baseline โ€“ discover and capture the โ€œas-isโ€ state of the clientโ€™s IT enterprise as it exists across multiple organizations throughout the enterprise.
  • Enterprise Architecture Future State โ€“ work in alignment with the clientโ€™s vision to capture the โ€œto beโ€ state of the clientโ€™s IT enterprise.
  • Enterprise Architecture Transition Plan โ€“ create the guidance and architecture artifacts to incrementally transition the clientโ€™s enterprise architecture from the as-is state to the future state.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including content providers, content consumers, developers, engineers, and business analysts.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
  • BS degree and 12 โ€“ 15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10 โ€“ 13 years of prior relevant experience. May possess a Doctorate in technical domain.
  • Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect, Systems Engineer, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., UAF, TOGAF, Zachman, DoDAF).
  • Familiarity with Systems Modeling Language (SysML) or Unified Modeling Language (UML) and Model-Based Systems Engineering.
