Shift Supervisor
Wendy’s, Mid Ohio Restaurant Management Inc III is searching for Five Star Talent to join our Five Star team. Salary $14.00 - $17.00 an hour (Based on experience and availability)
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Execute company policies and procedures
  • Solving customer complaints quickly and with a smile.
  • Maintain fast, accurate service, provide excellent customer service and meet and/or exceed both company and customer expectations
  • Anticipate and identify problems and initiate appropriate corrective action
  • Providing feedback to Team Members in a positive manner.
  • Provide proper training for team members
  • Communicating openly and honestly with the Restaurant Management team.
  • Following cash, security, inventory and labor policies and procedures.
  • Train, monitor, and reinforce food safety procedures and safe working procedures
  • Maintain a professional appearance
  • Delegate tasks to restaurant staff and supervise their performance
  • Balance cash at the end of the shift
  • Inform the next Shift Manager about pending tasks
  • Report maintenance and training needs
  • Ability to come to work promptly and as scheduled
  • Arrange to have shifts covered (e.g. when employees take time off)
  • Report directly to the Assistant Managers and General Manager
  • Must be able to stand for at least an 8 hour shift
  • Open or close the restaurant (when responsible for the first or last shift)

QUALIFICATIONS
  • One year of restaurant experience at a minimum in QSR or Fast-Casual environment Preferred
  • Willingness to work on your feet
  • Neat, clean, and professional appearance
  • Able to lift 35 pounds to waist level
  • Basic knowledge of food safety practices (Servsafe certification is a plus)
  • A customer service approach with the ability to manage complaints with professionalism
  • High stress tolerance -- thrives in a high-pressure environment
  • Willing to work normal schedule of 40 hours per week (including nights, weekends and some holidays) and stay over if needed
  • Strong communication skills; Must be able to multi-task
  • Must have a great personality, desire to serve guests, enjoy working as part of a team, and be upbeat and engaging
  • Must have reliable transportation
