The Investment Solutions Group (ISG) is a premier provider of multi-asset solutions, combining deep expertise in asset allocation, risk management, and investment advice to help clients pursue their evolving objectives with confidence.
Job Description:
This Boston-based role offers the opportunity to help shape and manage multi-asset portfolios within the Investment Solutions Group (ISG). The Portfolio Manager will work across strategic and tactical asset allocation, helping design and manage portfolios that align with long-term investment objectives from a total portfolio perspective. This position requires the ability to oversee complex portfolios, including custom balanced strategies, model portfolios, and registered funds, while contributing actively to tactical asset allocation discussions, portfolio reviews, and business development efforts.
We are looking for a thoughtful and driven investment professional with direct portfolio management experience, a strong curiosity about capital markets, and the ability to communicate ideas clearly with clients and colleagues. Experience in strategic and tactical asset allocation, and client engagement would be valuable differentiators. Programming skills, familiarity with optimization and risk models, and working knowledge of AI tools and emerging AI applications in investment management are also highly desirable. Success in this role will come from strong collaboration, sound judgment, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to take initiative in a dynamic team environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day portfolio activity, including cash flow investing, rebalancing, and exposure management across multiple portfolios
  • Contribute tactical views and implementation ideas across a broad range of asset classes and securities
  • Support existing client relationships, communicate portfolio insights, and help drive new business opportunities
  • Support senior portfolio managers and collaborate across teams on various projects and initiatives
  • Help strengthen and evolve tactical investment strategies, processes, and portfolio implementation approaches
  • Drive AI integration efforts to improve efficiency and outcomes for clients

Qualifications:
  • Strong interest in capital markets, portfolio management, and strategic and tactical asset allocation
  • CFA, MBA, or progress toward either designation is a plus
  • Approximately five or more years of relevant investment experience
  • Quantitative modeling and programming skills, with an interest in applying technology to investment decision-making
  • Working knowledge of AI tools and emerging AI applications relevant to investment research, portfolio management, or client solutions
  • Familiarity with optimization tools and financial software such as FactSet, Bloomberg, or, Axioma,
  • Collaborative, self-directed, and thoughtful approach, with a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive both independently and as part of a team

Salary Range:
$90,000 - $157,500 Annual
