Job description

Position Overview

Veridos America is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Program Manager to support the delivery and ongoing operations of the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV) Driver's License and Identification Card System. This is a hands-on delivery and account support role that works directly alongside the Senior Program Manager and key customer stakeholders. This is not an administrative support position and supports remote work with travel to the Ohio BMV sites periodically.

The Ohio BMV program supports the implementation of software systems at the ID card personalization plant in Bolingbrook, Illinois, as well as the hardware and software infrastructure across 178 Deputy Registrar sites serving all 88 counties in Ohio. You will play a key role in project planning, stakeholder coordination, operational support, customer communications, and account management activities throughout the implementation and operational lifecycle.

As the Ohio BMV implementation transitions into steady-state operations, this role will gradually expand to support additional Veridos customer programs and accounts. The successful candidate will gain exposure to multiple government technology programs, customer environments, and operational models across the Veridos portfolio, providing a clear path for professional growth and advancement within the Professional Services organization.

 Program and Schedule Management
  • Create and maintain project schedules, workplans, work breakdown structures (WBS), action item logs, risk registers, issue logs, status reports, and project documentation for assigned customer accounts.
  • Coordinate project meetings with customers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders, including preparation of agendas, meeting materials, meeting minutes, action item follow-up, and executive status reporting.
  • Support preparation and submission of contractual deliverables, including Ohio BMV G1-G7 requirements and customer-specific deliverables.
  • Monitor project and account health, including milestones, service levels, contractual commitments, risks, issues, and escalations.
  • Assist with customer relationship management and service delivery reporting metrics.
  • Support account growth activities including proposals, renewals, change requests, and onboarding / delivery of new projects.
 Stakeholder and Account Management
  • Represent Veridos professionally in customer-facing meetings, planning sessions, project reviews, operational reviews, executive briefings, and stakeholder engagements.
  • Coordinate with customers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to support project execution, operational activities, issue resolution, and contractual commitments.
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with customer stakeholders, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Communicate proactively when commitments, milestones, deliverables, or service levels are at risk.
 Operational Support and Continuous Improvement
  • Support ongoing account operations by monitoring service levels, KPIs, contractual commitments, and operational performance metrics.
  • Prepare customer-facing operational reports, scorecards, QBRs, MBRs, and other performance documentation.
  • Contribute to RFP responses, proposal development, project transitions, account planning activities, and other Professional Services initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational processes, project delivery methodologies, reporting capabilities, and customer outcomes.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management/collaboration tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, collaborate in a matrixed organization, and drive work to completion.
  • Strong customer-facing, analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel up to 15% based on business needs.
  • U.S. citizenship required and subject to successful background screening.
 Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP, CAPM, or active pursuit of a PMI certification.
  • Experience with state/local government, DMV programs, identity management, or regulated industries.
  • Knowledge of PMI, Agile, Hybrid Agile/Waterfall, Scaled Agile, or ITIL methodologies.
  • Experience supporting government contracts, account management, contract deliverables, and executive reporting.
