Job description

Venture Solar is hiring a Licensed MD and DE Electrician.
$1500 SIGN ON BONUS FOR MD ELECTRICIAN LICENSE
As an Electrician in the state of MD or DE, you will be responsible for:
  • Executing plans of electrical wiring for well-functioning PV solar systems
  • Installing electrical apparatus, fixtures, and equipment
  • Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components
  • Prepare and assemble conduits and connect wiring through them
  • Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair damaged units

What you'll bring:
  • Required valid Electrician license in the state of MD or DE
  • Experience in residential or commercial electrical systems preferred
  • Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g. wire strippers, voltmeter, etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints
  • Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability
  • Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts with paid overtime
  • A valid driver's license is required
  • Can work well independently and as part of a team

Physical Demands:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to climb ladders and work on pitched residential roofs
  • Ability to work in attics

Full time work 40+ hours, overtime pay for over 40 hours in 1 week.
This is a full-time, benefits-eligible role.
$27-$40 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
