Job description

Nursing Assistant

The Nursing Assistant assists the care team in providing age specific supportive, compassionate care and in ensuring a safe environment for customers and families. Receives direction and works with the care team to meet the defined goals of the customer, shift, department and organization. Communication with the health care team related to progress, concerns, questions or problems that arise are an essential element of the role.

*Must have acute care experience in a hospital setting.

*Will begin with close observation, but may move into fuller CNA roles.

*Will float mainly between Med Surg and ED.

Requirement description:

  • 1 yrs Nursing Assistant Experience in a hospital setting - Required
  • Acute Care Experience - Required
  • BLS (AHA or ARC) - Required
  • Successful completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant program for an accredited school or program - Required.
  • Successful completion of state of MN Certification Exam for NA's - Required
  • Must be willing to float between all Med Surg, ICU, and Emergency Department - Required
