Job description

Master Plumber

Allegro Home Delivery is a fast-growing company beginning to disrupt the last mile home delivery market.ย We are currently looking for a Master Plumber in the Minneapolis, MN area to oversee a group of technicians providing installs for our appliance customers.

Primary Role:ย You will direct a group of technicians that provide appliance installations for our customers in the Minneapolis, MN area. You will monitor the success of installations and use your expertise with gas and water hook-ups to train and guide the teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Run crews and/or direct technicians in safe appliance installation and assembly of plumbing systems
  • Monitor the success of appliance installations and train when needed
  • Keep accurate records of time spent working, description of work performed, and materials used
  • Follow all current regulations for plumbing work to ensure that all installed systems pass inspections
  • Ensure all work meets Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry (DLI) standards
  • Acquire permits where necessary
  • Perform appliance installations with gas and water hook-ups at residential sites
  • Communicate well with clients to ensure client satisfaction
  • Communicate and guide team members and installers including conducting ride behinds

Qualifications:

  • Valid plumbing license in Minnesota
  • Excellent working knowledge of water supply, gas, heating, and ventilation systems
  • Experience installing appliances
  • Skilled in the use of hand and power tools used in the plumbing trade
  • Strong critical thinking and trouble-shooting skills
  • Good interpersonal skills and patience
  • Must have own tools

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience training or overseeing team members
  • Customer facing experience
  • In-home delivery experience
