Job Title: Family Caregiver (Get Paid to Care for Your Loved One)

Location: Milwaukee, WI

Job Type: Full-TIme and Part-Time

Pay: Starting at $12.50 per hour

Schedule Options: 

  • 4-hour shifts 
  • 8-hour shifts 
  • Flexible scheduling based on care needs

Job Description:

Take care of your loved one at home—and get paid for it.

Senior Helpers Milwaukee is offering an opportunity for family members or close friends to become paid caregivers for their loved ones who need assistance at home and are eligible through State Insurance programs.

If your loved one has medical or personal care needs and qualifies for state assistance, you may be able to receive employment while continuing to care for them in the comfort of their home.

You must already have your own client (your loved one).

How It Works:

To get started, we will need basic information so our nursing team can complete the intake process:

  • Client’s full name
  • Date of birth
  • Phone number
  • Doctor information

Once eligibility is confirmed, you can be hired to provide care under an approved plan.

Caregiver Responsibilities:

As a Family Caregiver, you will provide care based on a personalized plan created by a Registered Nurse Case Manager.

Duties may include personal care, daily living assistance, and support that promotes comfort, safety, and dignity in the home.

Program Eligibility Includes:

  • Managed Health Services (MHS HMO)
  • iLife / IRIS Program

Requirements:

  • Must have your own client (family member or loved one)
  • Ability to provide care in the client’s home
  • Willingness to complete the required onboarding and training
  • Ability to follow a care plan prepared by an RN
