Job description

Shore Point Distributing Company, one of New Jersey’s largest family‑owned beverage wholesalers, is looking for a dependable and detail‑oriented individual to join our team as General Office Support. This is a full‑time, in‑office position in Freehold, NJ, ideal for someone who enjoys staying organized, supporting daily operations, and being a go‑to resource for both customers and internal teams.

Schedule

This position is typically scheduled Monday through Friday. Flexibility is preferred, as hours may vary week to week based on operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will provide general administrative support to management and office staff, including answering and directing phone calls, entering orders, and processing customer credits and debits. Additional responsibilities include light bookkeeping tasks, scanning checks for bank deposits, maintaining and updating company spreadsheets, resolving customer and driver issues, identifying invoice discrepancies, and assisting with data entry and record tracking. Other duties will be assigned as needed to support daily operations.

Requirements

Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and be comfortable working a flexible schedule. Strong customer service and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem‑solve in a fast‑paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required, as well as general comfort using office equipment. A team‑oriented, adaptable attitude is a must.
