East Noble School Corporation is accepting applications for the following vacancy: Instructional Assistant, Skills for Success Classroom (2 Vacancies)
North Side Elementary, 7 hours per day, M-F when school is in session.
Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and Indiana Retirement Fund
IA starting wage, $16.36 per hour.
This position will start on August 3, 2026
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Implement structured routines using visual schedules, work systems, and organized spaces to promote independence
  • Support academic and functional instruction by breaking tasks into clear, manageable steps
  • Assist students with communication using visuals, modeling, and alternative systems as needed
  • Reinforce social skills, flexibility, and self-regulation throughout the day
  • Apply proactive behavior supports and consistent responses during transitions and challenging situations
  • Collect and track student data to support progress and instructional decisions

Classroom Instruction:
Works with students one-on-one, in small groups, large groups or other
Assists with student documentation
Monitors student progress
Supervises students in all assigned areas
Communicates effectively and regularly with students and staff
Participates in team planning sessions
Attends all required training sessions and applies training within the classroom
Other duties as assigned by building administrator
Professionalism:
Maintains confidentiality of all student information
Follows East Noble policies and procedures
Works cooperatively with teacher(s) and other staff
Maintains professional demeanor
Candidate must have one of the following:
Minimum of 60 college credits
Associate's Degree
Paraprofessional certification
Or be willing to take and pass Paraprofessional certification test
