Job description

Hospital is looking for locum Urology coverage for 1-2 weekends/month, starting August 2024 on-going!
Urology in KY employs 1 physician and 2 nurse practitioners. The NPs do not provide inpatient support. The team is looking for someone to cover the call schedule for urology 2 - 3 weekends per month in order to provide relief to our employed physicians who covers the remainder of the time. This physician would be on call, take consults, round on any patients on urology service, and perform any necessary procedures/surgeries. The employed physician does not currently perform any procedures robotically but they do have 3 robots and are confident they could accommodate a urologist with that skillset, if needed.
The team is willing to accept locum to perm!
Job Details:

  • Estimated start date: Aug 1, 2024
  • Practice Setting: Inpatient/Hospital-Based
  • Dates of Coverage: 1-2 weekends per month (Thurs or Fri AM - Monday AM)
  • No other urologists onsite during assignment
  • Number of Urologists in Group: 1 MD provides inpatient support, 2 APRNs are ambulatory/clinic based only
  • Labs & X-rays onsite
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
  • Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible - REQUIRED
  • KY License - Preferred, willing to accept providers with IMLC
  • BLS/ACLS Certified - REQUIRED
  • Flu Shot - Required
  • COVID Vaccination - Highly preferred
