Job Overview:
The Community Standards Coordinator will manage all construction and modification requests with the Architectural Landscape and Review Committee, attend meetings, provide minutes and administrative support and interact with builders, vendors, and members regarding the Governing Documents and ALRC guidelines. 
Compensation: $22-$23 per hour, based on experience
FirstService Residential will compensate the successful candidate in accordance with the posted range. The salary or wage paid to the successful candidate will be commensurate with experience, education, and specific job responsibilities. For positions designated at a client's property, the salary or wage will also be premised upon the client's directive. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
 
Your Responsibilities: 
  • Coordinate with General Manager and ARC Chair on all ARC related projects and correspondence
  • Prepare meeting notices, agendas and meeting packets
  • Attend meetings and records minutes along with distributing monthly meeting minutes/packets for the ALRC
  • Maintain correspondence and communications for the ALRC
  • Manage applications by members and their architects, engineers, contractors and other professional through SmartWebs software
  • Directly review and ensure compliance with the Architectural Landscape and Review Committee Guidelines for exterior changes and improvements to individual residences, commercial parcels and new builds
  • Provide access and copies of applications and documents when requested
  • Address and coordinate non-compliance ARC issues with Compliance Coordinator
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Demonstrate organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
  • Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, with the ability to work effectively under time contains and deadlines
  • Must be able to effectively communicate through written & verbal means
  • Able to read and understand architectural drawings
  • Able to problem solve and make decisions
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with clients, vendors, and team members
  • Detail oriented
Education and Experience:
  • Two years of community association or similar experience preferred 
  • Proficient computer skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred 
Physical Requirements:
  • Walk and move throughout the community common areas and facilities
  • Sit and stand for moderate periods of time
  • Sit at a desk using a computer in an office setting
Work Location: Oro Valley, AZ 85755
Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 9a – 5p with some evenings and weekends as required
Travel Requirements: Some local travel required with the use of a personal vehicle
