Standard Italian: SERVER
Overview of Concept:
The Bower plaza in the Fenway is home to three concepts from ES Hospitality - Eastern Standard, reopened after 15 years in Kenmore Square, Equal Measure, a craft cocktail bar, and Standard Italian, a modern Italian restaurant. These concepts, helmed by Garrett Harker, serve brunch, lunch, dinner, and late-night drinks to neighborhood visitors, BU students and faculty, residents, and restaurant industry professionals alike. Garrett is joined by Beverage Director Jackson Cannon and Culinary Director Brian Rae in the operation of these concepts.
About the Position:
Standard Italian is seeking an experienced SERVER to join the front of house team. Applicants should have a genuine love of hospitality and food, a strong work ethic and an eagerness to grow professionally through collaboration with talented food and beverage colleagues. As a server you'll be on the front line representing the Standard Italian and the ES Hospitality brands. You'll be responsible for selling and serving food and beverages to guests in a kind and professional manner, providing a memorable dining experience, and ensuring repeat business. At ES Hospitality, we are proud of the level of hospitality and culture of education we've come to be known for. As a server at Standard Italian you will have the opportunity to continue to learn and grow professionally alongside colleagues that take pride in what they do.
In order to be successful in this role you must:
  • Guide the guest experience from start to finish while enthusiastically representing Eastern Standard and ES Hospitality as a whole

  • Have full weekend availability

Compensation and Benefits:
$25-$45 / hour
