Job description

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Project and Program Manager to lead both individual client projects and/or a portfolio of client projects and programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for not only overseeing the planning, execution, monitoring, and closing of client projects but also for the coordination and administration of multiple related projects directed toward strategic business and organizational objectives. This role involves managing project scope, project management team, implementation team, budget, and stakeholders to ensure success while also ensuring that program goals are met in areas including customer satisfaction, budget, quality, and team performance.
About the Role
In the role of Program Manager, you will:
  • Develop and oversee project plans and program strategies, including setting project goals, objectives, timelines, and milestones.
  • Create, manage, and align project teams, overseeing project management teams to ensure program-level objectives translate into high-quality project deliverables that meet or exceed stakeholder expectations within agreed parameters.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to understand project and program requirements, ensuring their satisfaction and strategic alignment.
  • Prepare and share high-level stakeholder updates, including key program milestones, timelines, and overall budgets.
  • Manage project and program budgets, including tracking expenses, forecasting costs, and ensuring compliance with financial constraints across multiple projects.
  • Monitor project progress and program performance, adjusting plans and strategies as needed to ensure success and alignment with client goals.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project success or program outcomes.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve project management tools, processes, and program management frameworks to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and foster innovation.
  • Evaluate both project and program performance, providing recommendations for improvement and reporting to senior management.

About You
You are a fit for the role of Program Manager if you have/are:
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English.
  • Able to work on hybrid in-office schedule with an expectation of 2-3 days per week and as required, highly preferred.
  • Ability to support global teams and clients as needed.
  • Able to support global time zones including US, European, and IST time zones.
  • 10+ years in client project management, with at least 5 years in a program management or similar strategic role leading client-facing technology projects; includes a proven track record of successfully managing projects from inception to completion, and advanced experience managing complex program portfolios with multiple simultaneous projects and teams.
  • Direct experience leading or overseeing project management for ONESOURCE product suite across practices.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and collaboration skills, with experience facilitating across diverse teams, resolving conflicts, and building consensus.
  • Strong leadership skills to motivate, influence, and manage cross-functional teams and inter-project dependencies effectively.
  • Advanced problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills to anticipate and avert issues before they arise.
  • Proficiency with a range of project and program management software and other relevant tools.
  • Agile and Scrum project management methodology experience, with the ability to adapt and apply both waterfall, agile, and hybrid practices to various types of projects and programs.
  • Ability to create and interpret reporting, dashboards, and project-level and program-level trends and insights.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand and align project and program outcomes with business strategy.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience, with a preference for an advanced degree in business or a related discipline.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance standards relevant to the organization's sector.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A history of continuous learning and professional development in project and program management as well as leadership and strategic management.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and change.
  • Experience working in a global environment with remote colleagues and clients.
  • Nice to have: Certification in project and program management.

The base compensation range varies across locations.For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the base compensation range for this role is $100,100 USD - $185,900 USD.Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
