Position Summary

The Staging Analyst has two primary functions at FoodTec Solutions.  First is the responsibility for preparing & testing hardware and implementing computer hardware and accessories before they are shipped to customers.  Secondly, the Staging Analyst will also coordinate remote installation appointments with customers to ensure that all shipped hardware is installed and properly implemented at the customer’s site.   
When preparing new hardware, the Staging Analyst must follow all company standards and ensure that all hardware passes multiple quality assurance checks.  The Analyst will be required to work with small hand tools and be familiar with internal computer components and safe handling practices.  When scheduling customer appointments, the Analyst must be able to efficiently guide customers through the installation process and complete all steps on the implementation checklist. 
The Staging Analyst must understand the Windows environment, networking and have a critical eye for testing equipment and hardware.  The ideal candidate with thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate an ability to self-organize and complete critical tasks on necessary deadlines.


Primary Duties


  • Complete assigned casework under scheduled deadlines and time expectations

  • Prepare, test and package computer hardware and various accessories

  • Process Return Merchandise requests

  • Meticulous focus on detail, including the ability to document and log serial numbers and hardware completion times

  • Troubleshoot technical issues that arise during hardware and accessory configuration

  • Ability to explain technical details to customers as needed, both orally and in written communication

  • Special Projects as assigned by the Director of Installation from time to time
