Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION

Do you love creating a welcoming environment and making people smile? Look no further, LaJava is seeking a fun and energetic Barista to join our team! Our baristas are the heart and soul of our coffee shop, crafting delicious beverages and having fun in the process. We believe in growth! Opportunities provided for those who are interested in advancement within our company.

RESPONSIBILITES:

Running and maintaining coffee production machines

Back-up Coffee Bean Roaster (we roast all of our own beans locally in small batches, will to train the right candidate).

Loading and unloading trucks (pre-packaging, pre-shipping, and staging)

Preparing materials for shipment (packing boxes, labeling products, etc)

Receiving and processing shipments (checking stock levels, restocking supplies, etc)

Outputting of goods (picking orders, receiving incoming shipments, etc)

Maintaining a clean and safe work area at all times.

Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Ability to work independently or as a team member

Ability to recognize quality differences

Ability to stay focused on the work at hand.

Ability to lift up to 50lbs
