Job description

Job Title

Loading, unloading, and staging of freight on motor carriers and in dock facilities

Complete and processes appropriate paperwork

Ensure all freight paperwork is complete and processed timely

Perform physical loading, unloading, and staging of freight

Check shipments received for correct items, counts, packing, crating, and tagging

Ensure safe and proper loading of freight within each vehicle (bracing, strapping, labeling freight, etc.) to minimize the possibility of damaged freight

Must be able to lift 75 lbs.

Forklift certifiable

Experience loading/unloading commercial vehicles & staging freight is preferred.
