Staging Company information

What is a staging company?

A staging company is a business that specializes in preparing and decorating homes or commercial spaces to make them more appealing to potential buyers or renters. They use furniture, artwork, and accessories to enhance a property's best features, often creating a welcoming and attractive atmosphere. Staging can help properties sell faster and for higher prices by enabling buyers to envision themselves in the space. These companies work closely with real estate agents, homeowners, and property managers to achieve the best presentation possible.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive at a staging company, and why are they important?

To excel at a staging company, you need a strong understanding of interior design principles, spatial planning, and basic project management, usually supported by experience or education in design or real estate. Familiarity with design software like SketchUp, inventory management systems, and possibly a certification in home staging is often required. Creativity, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills help you create appealing spaces and work effectively with clients and vendors. These abilities are crucial for maximizing property appeal, ensuring smooth logistics, and driving client satisfaction in a competitive market.

What are some common challenges faced by professionals working in a staging company and how can they be addressed?

Professionals in a staging company often face challenges such as tight deadlines, coordinating with multiple vendors, and adapting to varied client preferences. Managing logistics for furniture and décor, ensuring properties are photo-ready, and responding to last-minute changes require strong organizational and communication skills. These challenges can be addressed by developing detailed project plans, maintaining flexible inventory options, and fostering teamwork among designers, movers, and real estate partners. Building strong client relationships and being proactive in problem-solving are also key to success in this fast-paced environment.

What is the difference between Staging Company vs Home Stager?

AspectStaging CompanyHome Stager
CredentialsOften certified in home staging or interior designMay have certification or training in staging or design
Work EnvironmentWorks with multiple properties, often as a teamTypically works independently on individual homes
Employer & Industry UsageOperates as a business serving real estate agents and homeownersProvides staging services directly to homeowners or agents

In summary, a Staging Company is a business that employs multiple professionals to stage various properties, often working as a team. A Home Stager is an individual professional who offers staging services directly to homeowners or real estate agents. Both roles require similar credentials and serve the real estate industry, but their work scope and operational structure differ.

Do staging companies make good money?

Staging companies can be profitable, especially when working with high-value properties and experienced stagers. Income varies based on location, experience, and the number of projects handled, with some stagers earning a substantial income through project fees and consultations. Success often depends on marketing skills, industry reputation, and the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.

Is home staging a good career?

Home staging is a viable career that involves preparing properties for sale to appeal to buyers, often requiring skills in interior design, marketing, and customer service. It can offer flexible hours and the potential for self-employment, but success depends on building a client base and developing a strong portfolio. Certification programs are available to enhance credibility and skills in the field.

Job description

Calling Established Stagers & Interior Designers in the Denver Area

Grow Your Staging Business Without the Cost of Inventory, Storage, or Logistics
All About Staging & Design is opening our 15,000+ sq ft staging warehouse in Denver to a small group of independent stagers and designers who want to grow their business faster.
If you already work with realtors, builders, investors, or homeowners and want to take on more projects without the huge expense of owning furniture, storage space, and delivery vehicles, this opportunity may be the perfect fit.
Instead of building your own warehouse and inventory from scratch, you can plug into ours.

What We Provide
15,000+ sq ft staging warehouse in Denver
$1M+ inventory of furniture, art, rugs, lighting, and décor
• Professional delivery and installation crew
• Organized inventory systems
• Logistics coordination
• Opportunity to collaborate with an established local staging brand
This allows you to focus on designing beautiful spaces and growing your client base, while we support the operational side.
Who This Opportunity Is For
We are looking to collaborate with motivated stagers and interior designers who already have experience or an existing client base.

This is ideal for someone who:
• Has worked with realtors, builders, or investors
• Has staging or interior design experience
• Wants to scale their business without owning inventory
• Enjoys building relationships and managing their own clients
• Values independence but appreciates shared resources
This is not an entry-level training program.
We are looking for professionals who want to grow their own business with strong operational support.

How the Model Works
You keep 100% of your staging/design fees

You manage:
• Client relationships
 • Consultations
 • Design planning
We provide:
• Furniture inventory
 • Warehouse access
 • Delivery and installation logistics
Inventory rental and delivery fees apply depending on project scope.
Partnership Structure
This opportunity operates as an independent contractor partnership (1099).
Partner stagers operate their own staging or design business while utilizing our warehouse inventory and logistics support.
Partner stagers are responsible for:
• Their own client relationships
 • Maintaining appropriate business insurance (general liability)
 • Marketing and growing their brand
 • Transporting themselves to job sites and the warehouse
Partner stagers may continue to promote their own brand and portfolio, and are welcome to use our furniture installations in their marketing and project photography.
About Us
All About Staging & Design is a female-owned, family-operated staging company based in Denver, led by owner and head stager Jeannie Pucci.
With over 15,000 square feet of curated staging inventory, our goal is to support talented stagers and designers by providing the infrastructure needed to grow a successful staging business.

Interested?
Send us:
• A short introduction about your experience
 • Examples of past staging or design work (if available)
 • A little about your current client base or goals
We look forward to connecting with creative, motivated professionals ready to grow.
