The Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving, storing, organizing, and distributing fire and life safety equipment and materials. This role ensures accurate inventory management and timely fulfillment of orders to support inspection, service, and installation teams while maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • In-depth daily assembly, organization, and staging of complete material packages and support equipment for scheduled jobs.
  • Drive, load, and operate a large flatbed truck to safely transport and unload commercial deliveries.
  • Oversee daily stock levels, navigate warehouse inventory to put away new deliveries and field returns, and ensure overarching stock organization.
  • Maintain the capability to perform shop fabrication tasks and operate machinery as operational demands require.
  • Safely load, secure, and transport inventory: operate forklifts (existing certification is a plus; in-house training provided as needed).
  • Exercise sound judgement and make independent operational decisions while managing logistics and deliveries unsupervised or off-site.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education/Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Active qualification to operate a large flatbed truck.
  • Prior warehouse, logistics, or inventory experience preferred.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems preferred.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be able to obtain a medical card for operating the flatbed truck.

Other Duties:
  • Adheres to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 50+ lbs regularly.
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
  • Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures.
  • Use of hands and arms for handling materials and operating equipment.

Pay:
  • $22 to $28 depending on experience.
  • Weekly pay.
