Warehouse Clerk
Location: 6600 Rice Rd, Victor, NY 14564
Job Summary
Skips Custom Flooring is seeking a dependable and motivated Warehouse Clerk to support daily warehouse operations at our Victor, NY location. This role is responsible for receiving, organizing, staging, and preparing flooring materials and related products for pickup, delivery, and internal operations. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and committed to accuracy and customer service.
Key Responsibilities

  • Receive incoming shipments and verify products against purchase orders and packing slips
  • Inspect materials for damage, shortages, or discrepancies and report issues promptly
  • Organize and store inventory in the proper warehouse locations
  • Pull, stage, and prepare materials for customer pickups, deliveries, and installs
  • Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
  • Keep warehouse clean, orderly, and safe at all times
  • Assist with inventory counts and stock organization
  • Label products and maintain accurate warehouse records
  • Communicate with office staff, sales team, and drivers regarding order readiness and material status
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely, including forklifts or pallet jacks if trained
  • Follow company procedures for handling flooring, cabinets, appliances, and related materials
Qualifications

  • Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or inventory experience preferred
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly and perform physical tasks throughout the day
