Job description

Shape the work that shapes industry

Our growing fabrication shop is dedicated to precision-formed sheet metal components that power a wide range of industrial uses. We’re looking for a technician who treats each bend as a craft, each setup as a plan, and each inspection as proof of excellence.

Imagine your first part of the day

You review the blueprint and flat pattern, choose a tooling strategy, and stage your dies and punches. At the Strippit LVD CNC press brake, you dial in the back gauge and program bend sequences for clean, repeatable results. After forming your first-article, you verify with calipers, protractors, and height gauges—everything checks out. The run begins, quality stays steady, and you adjust as needed to hold tolerance until the last piece is stacked.

Your core responsibilities
  • Operate Strippit LVD CNC and NC Brake Presses with a focus on consistent, high-quality output.
  • Use both CNC and manual press brake equipment to form parts per engineering drawings and production needs.
  • Set up machines: select tooling, adjust back gauges, and program bend sequences for accuracy.
  • Interpret blueprints, flat patterns, and work orders precisely.
  • Conduct first-article inspections and verify part dimensions using calipers, protractors, height gauges, and other precision measuring tools.
  • Maintain quality throughout production by monitoring machine performance and making necessary adjustments.
  • Assist with material handling by safely loading and unloading sheet metal using hoists or manual methods.
Qualifications that fit
  • 1–3 years operating a press brake in a fabrication or manufacturing environment; CNC experience preferred.
  • Ability to read technical drawings, calculate bend deductions, and understand fabrication symbols.
  • Knowledge of sheet metal behavior: materials, thicknesses, bend allowances, forming characteristics.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
  • Forklift or overhead crane certification.
  • Experience with Amada, Accurpress, Cincinnati, or similar CNC press brake platforms.
Schedule and compensation
  • 1st Shift: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm, Monday–Friday
  • Half-day Saturdays for overtime may be available
  • $20–$26 per hour, commensurate with experience
Take the next bend in your career

Bring your precision, pride, and problem-solving mindset. Help us build components that perform, part after part.
