Our team is made up of passionate professionals who thrive on creativity, collaboration, and excellence. We take pride in building strong partnerships, delivering exceptional work, and pushing the boundaries of what's possible in live and digital environments.
The Role
We are seeking an Interactive Technology Developer with strong Unity and C# experience to help create interactive experiences for trade shows, events, museums, and branded environments.
This role is ideal for a developer who enjoys solving technical challenges, integrating emerging technologies, and bringing physical and digital systems together to create memorable experiences.
Projects frequently involve Unity applications communicating with external systems, integrating third-party hardware, deploying emerging technologies, and supporting installations in real-world environments. While Unity and C# development will be the primary focus, this role emphasizes technical integration and systems development.
The successful candidate will work closely with senior developers, designers, producers, and AV specialists to bring unique experiences to life.
No two projects are exactly alike. You may find yourself putting the finishing touches on a custom game scene, integrating a computer vision framework into Unity, developing communication between applications using OSC, connecting to a badge registration platform through an API, or testing applications prior to deployment.
We are looking for someone who is curious, adaptable, technically versatile, and excited to learn new technologies as project needs evolve.
Location: Remote (Milwaukee, WI area preferred for occasional in-office collaboration)
What You'll Do
  • Develop and maintain interactive applications using Unity and C#.
  • Integrate third-party SDKs, APIs, and external hardware into Unity applications.
  • Integrate cameras, sensors, tracking systems, and other interactive technologies into live experiences.
  • Build communication workflows between applications, devices, and external systems using technologies such as DMX, OSC, WebSockets, TCP/UDP, HTTP APIs, and related protocols.
  • Integrate cloud services, internal business systems, registration platforms, and third-party event technologies into interactive experiences.
  • Evaluate, prototype, and deploy emerging technologies including AI, computer vision, motion tracking, and interactive hardware platforms.
  • Research and evaluate new software platforms, frameworks, and technologies for future projects.
  • Assist with hardware selection, system setup, deployment, and technical documentation.
  • Create technical diagrams, deployment plans, and installation documentation.
  • Perform software QA, testing, optimization, and troubleshooting across software and hardware systems.
  • Support deployed experiences during installation, testing, and live events as needed.

What We're Looking For
  • Strong proficiency in C# and object-oriented programming principles.
  • Professional experience developing applications in Unity.
  • Experience integrating third-party SDKs, APIs, middleware, or external hardware into applications.
  • Familiarity with networking and communication protocols such as OSC, TCP/IP, UDP, WebSockets, REST APIs, or similar technologies.
  • Experience working with sensors, cameras, tracking systems, or other interactive hardware is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and apply new technologies, frameworks, and APIs independently.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues across multiple interconnected systems.
  • Familiarity with technologies such as computer vision, AI services, machine learning frameworks, or real-time media systems is a plus.
  • Basic familiarity with web technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and REST-based services for integration purposes.
  • Experience working in collaborative development environments and managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Bonus Experience
Experience with any of the following is a plus:
  • Computer vision frameworks (MediaPipe, OpenCV, etc.)
  • Depth cameras and tracking systems (ZED, Azure Kinect, Intel RealSense, etc.)
  • AI service integrations
  • Interactive exhibit, museum, trade show, or experiential technology projects
  • V systems and show control technologies
  • TouchDesigner, or other real-time platforms
  • Linux, scripting, or server administration
  • Cloud platforms and deployment workflows

Why Stamm Media
  • Work with a collaborative, high-performing team that genuinely enjoys working together.
  • Build experiences using emerging technologies including AI, computer vision, interactive systems, and experiential technology platforms.
  • Collaborate on innovative, high-impact projects for major brands.
  • Help create immersive experiences seen by audiences nationwide.
  • Be part of a respected event technology company with a national footprint.
  • Work on projects where creativity, experimentation, and technical innovation are encouraged.

If you enjoy combining software, hardware, and emerging technologies to create unforgettable experiences, we'd love to hear from you.
