Overview

Hartford Athletic is seeking motivated Corporate Partnerships Gameday Interns looking to learn and grow within the sports and entertainment industry. Corporate Partnerships Gameday Interns will report to the Coordinator, Corporate Partnerships Activations and are responsible for assisting the Partnerships team with supporting gameday and community activations onsite. Ideal candidates will understand soccer or sports and a desire to communicate and assist with partners.

Please note that this is an unpaid internship, which requires working weekday and weekend games at Trinity Health Stadium.

Responsibilities

  • Be an integral part of the Corporate Partnerships team
  • Support Corporate Partnerships staff during home matches andassistwith community engagement events
  • Assistwith gameday setup and takedown of activation elements, including signage, booths, and hospitality spaces
  • Assistwith ticket scanning at gates
  • Bean ambassador of the Club within the corporate community
  • Coordinate with staff across Corporate Partnerships, marketing, and game-day operations to help execute a seamless event
  • Assistwith distribution of partner promotional materials, giveaways, and sampling items during activations
  • Supporttableand engagement efforts at off-site community events on behalf of Hartford Athletic and its partners
  • Help capture photos and videos of partner activations for internal use and social media content
  • Assistwith inventory and organization of partnership activation materials and equipment
  • Take on other duties, special projects, and event-daytasksassigned by Corporate Partnerships staff

Desired Qualifications

  • Passion for soccer, sports, and community engagement
  • General knowledge of the sports and entertainment industry
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Positive attitude and willingness to work in a team environment
  • Comfortable interacting with corporate partners, fans, and staff
  • Proficiencyin Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with Canva, social media platforms, or CRM software is a plus
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
  • Workingknowledge of soccer

Requirements

  • Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program and eligible for college credit, otherwise must be a volunteer
  • Available throughout the fall and/or spring semester
  • Willing to work evenings and weekends based on gameday and Partnerships programming
  • Reliable transportation to Trinity Health Stadium
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds andassistwith event setup and breakdown
  • Conversational Spanish languageproficiencypreferred
