Job Title: Stacker / Packer

Job Description

This role supports production operations by safely loading and unloading large rolls of coatings, preparing pallets, and assisting machine and forklift operators. You will work on the production floor to ensure materials move efficiently, products are properly secured, and pallets are built and wrapped to meet quality and safety standards.

Openings on 1st and 2nd shifts 6am-2pm or 2pm-10pm. Both $18.20/hr and will receive shift differential after 90 days. Can start within a week of interviewing

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload large rolls of coatings to support machine operators and maintain steady production flow.
  • Prepare and set up pallets for incoming and outgoing materials, including building pallets and ensuring they are ready for use.
  • Use a nail gun when needed to assemble or reinforce pallets in a safe and controlled manner.
  • Roll and load new rolls onto pallets and unload used rolls, helping to roll them onto other pallets as required.
  • Wrap and secure rolls using wrapping materials and wires to ensure they remain stable and protected during storage and transport.
  • Direct and communicate with forklift operators to guide safe and accurate placement and movement of pallets and rolls.
  • Assist with general production duties such as stacking, packing, loading, unloading, palletizing, and pallet building.
  • Operate or assist with pallet jacks and other basic material handling tools as needed.
  • Support basic inventory and pallet tracking activities to help maintain organized and accurate material flow.
  • Follow all safety procedures, including the proper use of required personal protective equipment (PPE), and help maintain a clean and orderly work area.

Essential Skills

Once you move into a direct role, you can also receive shift differentials, providing additional earning potential.

The production floor uses numerous fans to promote airflow and help maintain comfort, while break rooms are air-conditioned to provide a cool, comfortable space during breaks.
