As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will play an integral role in providing exceptional mental health care to our clients at The Sanctuary Foster Care Mental and Wellness Center. This full-time position allows you the flexibility of working remotely while still delivering compassionate and ethical counseling services to clients. Through the use of video conferencing, you will conduct individual therapy sessions aimed at improving the mental well-being of stable, low-acuity adults.

• Conduct individual mental health counseling sessions via secure video chat, ensuring emotional safety and confidentiality.
• Employ solution-focused treatment modalities to support clients through their challenges effectively.
• Prepare and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessments of client needs, treating a wide range of mental health concerns.
• Facilitate discussions that help clients develop insight into their feelings, behaviors, and interpersonal relationships.
• Regularly monitor and document client progress throughout their treatment, adjusting plans as necessary to encourage healthy coping skills.

Your primary focus will be on stable, low-acuity adults who may be navigating various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and stress-related issues. Our goal is to empower these individuals by equipping them with the tools needed to enrich their lives and manage their mental health effectively. As part of a compassionate team, you will help foster a positive therapeutic environment aimed at achieving lasting change.

• A Master's degree in a counseling-related discipline such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A current state-issued license in mental health counseling, such as LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or similar, allowing for independent practice without supervision.
• No provisional licenses or disciplinary actions on record.
• Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and understanding in client interactions.
• Proficiency with technology, including a reliable computer equipped with webcam and audio capabilities for virtual sessions.
• A stable internet connection to facilitate smooth communication during sessions.

• Previous experience in telehealth or remote counseling environments is highly valued.
• Familiarity with solution-focused therapy modalities will enhance your effectiveness in this role.
• Experience working with diverse populations is a plus, as we aim to serve a wide range of client backgrounds.

You will receive a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 104,000, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
