Job description

Sanitation Lead (Night Shift)

Rainier Pure Beef is looking for a motivated, hands-on Sanitation Lead to help lead our overnight sanitation team. If you have experience in food manufacturing sanitation, enjoy leading by example, and take pride in maintaining the highest food safety standards, we'd like to meet you.

In this role, you'll help direct the nightly sanitation crew, train team members, ensure equipment and production areas are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized, and prepare the facility for the next day's production.

What You'll Do
  • Lead and support the overnight sanitation team.
  • Assign work and ensure cleaning schedules are completed.
  • Train and mentor sanitation employees.
  • Verify sanitation quality and food safety standards.
  • Assist with pre-operational inspections and corrective actions.
  • Promote a safe workplace by following OSHA, USDA, and company requirements.
What We're Looking For
  • At least 2 years of sanitation experience in food manufacturing.
  • Previous lead or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of sanitation chemicals, SSOPs, GMPs, and food safety practices.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work nights, overtime, and occasional weekends.
  • Beef processing or USDA experience is a plus.
