• Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to determine clients' mental health status and needs.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based methods and best practices.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy, to facilitate patient healing.
• Maintain regular communication with clients, offering ongoing support and therapeutic guidance.
• Coordinate care with other healthcare providers when necessary, referring clients to psychiatrists, nutritionists, or other specialists to provide comprehensive treatment.
• Document patient interactions and treatment progress accurately in electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in peer supervision and team meetings to discuss case management and share insights on best practices in the field.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at St. Rose Psychotherapy Services, you will work with a diverse range of individuals facing various mental health challenges. Your clients may include teens dealing with anxiety, adults struggling with depression, and individuals seeking support for substance abuse. Cultural competence is essential as you navigate different backgrounds, ensuring that each client receives personalized care that respects their unique experiences and perspectives.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A valid and current license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.
• At least four years of relevant clinical experience working in mental health counseling.
• Deep understanding of a wide variety of mental health disorders and the application of evidence-based therapies.
• Strong crisis intervention skills and the ability to remain composed under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build rapport with a diverse client population.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) software and other health technology tools.
• A commitment to ethical practice, client confidentiality, and professional development.

• Experience in delivering both individual and group therapy sessions.
• Knowledge of community resources and support services to aid in client referrals.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and software, enhancing remote service delivery.
