St. Luke Lutheran Community is hiring a full-time Laundry/Housekeeping Assistant for our North Canton campus.

The Laundry/Housekeeping Team here at St. Luke Lutheran Community ensures the maintenance of a healthy and clean living environment for our resident, guests, and employees.

Position Title: Laundry/Housekeeping Assistant

Pay: $12.60/hour

Status: Full-Time

FLSA: Non-Exempt

Schedule:

  • Full-time (40 hours/week)
  • 11:00AM-7:30PM
  • Every other weekend (required)
  • Every other holiday (required)


Responsibilities:

  • Laundering/folding facility linens/garments and resident clothing/personal items
  • Cleaning/sanitizing common areas, entrance/exit ways, bathrooms, and resident rooms
  • Cleaning/polishing furnishings and fixtures
  • Vacuuming/mopping floors
  • Cleaning/sanitizing of hallways, stairways, elevators, dining rooms, nursing stations, etc
  • Proper discarding of waste/trash
  • Replenishing supplies
