Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) opportunity in Austin, TX where we have 300 days of sunshine a year! Austin Anesthesiology Group (AAG) offers a flexible schedule in various surgical settings. AAG provides anesthesia services for much of the St. David's Health Care system in the Austin area. St. David's Medical Center is home to the world-renowned Texas Cardiac Arrhythmia Institute and St. David's Neuroscience & Spine Institute and provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care. In addition to St. David's Medical Center, our practice provides anesthesia services at St. David's North Austin Medical Center, South Austin Hospital, and Round Rock Medical Center and accompanying outpatient surgery centers. Our diverse group is composed of anesthesiologists, CRNAs, and CAAs who provide anesthesia services in a care team model; team members are exposed to a wide variety of complex cases. Our care team model means that we focus on everyone having a voice, while supporting, respecting, and helping to deliver care excellence.
Total Rewards
Salary: based on years of experience: $200K - $260K

Case Assignments & Schedule
Schedule: Flexible scheduling including 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts. Extra pay for call and overtime.
Our practice covers the full range of specialties including general inpatient and outpatient cases, trauma, OB, neuro, EP and more.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership
Requirements
Master's Degree from an Accredited Anesthesiologist Assistant Program
Complies with American Academy of Anesthesiologist Assistants licensure guidelines
St. David's Medical Center, $200K - $260K, Full-Time CAA
