Job description

We are seeking an experienced painter to join our team. We work on all sorts of properties, but most of our jobs involve applying interior and exterior paint and industrial coatings. As a Painter, your main task will be to paint, but you will also assist with prep tasks, including patching holes, spackling/skim-coating, sanding down rough surfaces, and setting up scaffolding. We expect all of our employees to keep a professional and safe workplace. Any experience you have working paint spraying equipment is a plus.

Painter Duties and Responsibilities

  • Apply paint and other coatings to drywall and other surfaces
  • Spackling, taping, skim coating to prepare surfaces for paint
  • Sand down or clean surfaces before applying paint
  • Patch walls and perform other prep tasks as necessary
  • Assist with mixing paint colors
  • Set up and take down scaffolding for larger jobs
  • Clean spray nozzles, brushes, and all other equipment at the end of your shift
  • Must be willing and able to travel to jobsites in the NYC metro area, Westchester, Long Island, and New Jersey and Connecticut
