Job Summary:
RIT Solutions, Inc. is a forward-thinking healthcare analytics firm seeking an SSIS SQL Engineer to join their dynamic remote team. The role involves designing and developing high-quality software modules, conducting testing, and mentoring team members while adhering to best practices in software engineering.
Responsibilities:
• Design and develop high-quality, maintainable software modules for the product suite.
• Analyze business requirements and specifications to create detailed implementation designs.
• Continuously update professional knowledge of new technologies and integrate them into the product suite.
• Conduct unit and integration testing using appropriate methodologies to ensure code quality.
• Analyze and resolve software-related issues originating from both internal and external customers.
• Mentor team members in proper software engineering methods and techniques.
• Review software engineering approaches and solutions to ensure adherence to industry best practices.
• Manage change control processes, including entering, transcribing, and maintaining information in written and electronic forms.
• Complete responsibilities as outlined on the annual Performance Plan.
• Execute special projects and other duties as assigned.
• Perform all duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of industry specific experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of Extract Transform and Load (ETL) processing.
• Demonstrated proficiency with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
• Working knowledge of RDBMS such as SQL Server, MySQL, or SQL programming skills.
