We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Microsoft SSIS Developer (contractor) with strong Microsoft SQL Server expertise and experience in SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS). This role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ETL solutions using Microsoft SSIS to support data integration, data warehousing, and reporting initiatives across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing ETL processes, ensuring data accuracy and integrity, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver scalable data solutions.

This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports. The position works closely with IT project teams and business stakeholders across multiple departments.

Essential Duties:

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain ETL solutions using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
  • Maintain and enhance existing ETL workflows to improve data integrity, reliability, and performance
  • Create and maintain SSAS multidimensional and/or tabular models
  • Support enterprise data warehouse architecture and data integration initiatives
  • Implement data validation, transformation, and cleansing processes
  • Optimize ETL and cube processing performance
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including data flow diagrams and process documentation
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable solutions
  • Monitor and troubleshoot ETL processes to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Continuously improve ETL processes by incorporating best practices and feedback

  • Proven experience as an ETL Developer with at least 3 years of experience using SSIS.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems or other related field from four-year College or University.
