Job description

EPS Corporation is looking for a Lead Server Support Center (SSC) Technician - Systems Administrator to Lead for the Server Support Center (SSC), providing direct oversight of all SSC task order operations. Requirements Responsibilities Provide operational support to the Server Support Center (SSC), including task order oversight, weekly reporting, and adherence to Air Force and DoD policies. Install, configure, administer, and maintain mission-critical servers (Unclassified-Top Secret) within VMware environments. Monitor system performance, manage resources, optimize efficiency, and troubleshoot hardware/software issues to ensure continuous availability and operational readiness. Perform patch management (IAVA/IAVB/TCNO), STIG compliance, Automated Service Interruptions (ASI), routine and emergency maintenance, and full backup/disaster recovery validation. Manage user accounts and access controls, enforce cybersecurity policies, review audit logs, and coordinate with the Cyber Security Liaison (CSL) for audits and incident resolution. Document all maintenance, testing, security actions, and configuration changes in accordance with established change management and configuration control processes. Experience: Senior-level experience in server support and systems administration. Experience supporting system administration duties on Government and Intel networks such as NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, NSANet, and Tier 1 networks. Experience in installation, support, and maintenance of computer systems and servers. Experience scheduling and responding to service outages and diagnosing software and hardware failures to resolution. Proficiency in Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Server 2008 or higher, VMWare 5.1 or higher, and vSphere Administration. Experience with ITIL best practices. Experience with backup and disaster recovery operations. Education: Bachelor's Degree in IT-related field, OR minimum 6 years of relevant experience Certifications: DoD 8140 (or 8570.01-M) approved and registered IAT Level II baseline certification (Security+ CE preferred). Preferred - Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and/or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP). Proficiency in Microsoft Active Directory; Microsoft Server 2008, or higher; proficiency in VMWare 5.1or higher and vSphere Administration.
