Database Team Lead

Ops Tech Alliance (OTA) is seeking a Database Team Lead to support PL ALTESS at Radford Army Ammunition Plant, VA, under Task Area 4 – Application Management. The lead owns database engineering across Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, and MySQL platforms on-prem and in cloud environments, and drives STIG/SRR compliance for ALTESS-hosted applications.
This position is contingent upon contract award.
Responsibilities
• Lead database engineering across Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
• Operate cloud-hosted database environments (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, or equivalent).
• Perform STIG/SRR review, POA&M management, and ATO support.
• Tune performance, manage backups, and lead recovery exercises.
 
Required Qualifications

• 5+ years enterprise database / application server architecture.
• Hands-on Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL.
• Cloud-hosted database environment experience.
• STIG/SRR review and POA&M management.
• Active SECRET clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship.
 
Desired Qualifications

• Python or PowerShell scripting for DBA automation.
• Oracle DBA Certified Professional.
• AWS RDS or Azure SQL experience.
• Experience with Army RMF database authorizations.
